Dr Jennifer O'Neill

My name is Dr Jennifer O'Neill, and I am an academic with expertise in anatomy, medical science, law and ethics. I am passionate about improving healthcare through education and I created Informed: CPD for Healthcare in 2024 to provide high quality e-Resources, developed in line with best pedagogical practices, direct to busy healthcare professionals. 

As a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, I have reached an advanced level of teaching and leadership in accordance with the United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) for teaching in Higher Education and am committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship. I hold an Honours degree in Anatomy and am a John Hunter medallist (Anatomy Jnr Honours). I also hold a DipHE in Medical Science, Bachelor of Laws with Honours and my PhD is in Health Law, Legal Philosophy and Ethics.

I have developed my expertise in teaching over the last decade, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the UK and abroad, including at renowned medical schools. I have published in international peer reviewed journals and am regularly invited to act as a peer reviewer. I look forward to helping you on your continuous learning journey.
